SYTNYK: Nellie Sytnyk of Shoal Lake passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2011 at the Shoal Lake Strathclair Health Centre at the age of 87 years. Nellie is survived by her husband Peter Sytnyk of Shoal Lake; son Larry (Lavinia) Sytnyk of Oakburn; 3 daughters: Lil (Mel) Logan of Carroll, Lynda Wasylyshen of Oakburn and Joan (Jim) Shwaluk of Shoal Lake; 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Also surviving is sister Mildred (Louis) Golletz of Winnipeg. The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 4, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Oakburn with interment following in the parish cemetery. Prayers will be said Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the church. Father Mykhaylo Khomitskyy will officiate. If friends so desire donations may be made to a charity of their choice.
