HARKNESS: (Brad) Stanley. Feb. 1, 1955 - Feb. 1, 2011. Born in Brandon, Manitoba, 56 years of age passed away peacefully in his home, Sudbury, Ontario after a courageous battle with, cancer. Brad is survived by his wife Josette, his mother Agnes (Jim Harkness deceased 1989), Hazel, Ron (Val) Harkness, Candice (Jim) as well as their families. Brad was the loving father of Brady Harkness (Kristy), Shanda Ferguson (Scott), Jamey Cronshaw (Tom), Kara Harkness (Greg), Krista Harkness. Brad has 14 grandchildren (predeceased by Jeremy Harkness). Brad also has six step-children and grandchildren. Brad was a friendly man with a big heart and a great sense of humor and always there to help someone in need. A celebration of his life was held in Sudbury, Ontario on February 3. Celebration of his life will be held at a later date in Manitoba. The lessons he has taught each and every one of us will be remembered for ever. Donations can be made to the Cancer Society.
