DOWD: Albert “Abbey” Edward Dowd, passed away at the Victoria Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba on Saturday February 26, 2011 at the age of 57 years, Albert “Abbey” Edward Dowd of Glenboro, Manitoba. Abbey leaves to mourn his passing son Ryan Dowd of Winnipeg, Manitoba, mother Isabelle, brothers Morley and George (Andrea McKay) all of Glenboro, Manitoba, sisters Margaret “May” (Richard) Cockle of Thompson, Manitoba, Dorothy (Brian) Robertson of Carberry, Manitoba and Darlene Marsh of Winnipeg, Manitoba, as well as extended family & friends. Abbey was predeceased by his father Nelson in July 1981. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 3rd, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Willmor Chapel, Glenboro, Manitoba with Sharon Hamilton officiating. Interment to follow in the Glenboro Cemetery.
