MISCAVISH: Melvin Lawrence (Mel). It is with deep sadness and sorrow that we announce Mel's passing on the evening of March 05, 2011, at the Neepawa Health Centre, with his loving niece, Joanie, at his side. Mel passed away at the age of 75, after a 3 1/2 year struggle from a debilitating stroke, and finally, pneumonia. A celebration of Mel's life will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2011, at 2:00 p.m., at the Viscount Cultural Centre, 293 Mountain Avenue, Neepawa, followed by internment of cremated remains at Riverside Cemetery in Neepawa. White's Funeral Home, Neepawa, Manitoba in care of arrangements. Longer obituary to follow in Saturday’s paper.
