NORRIE: Cyril Collin Norrie; of Isabella, Manitoba, passed away at the Hamiota District Health Centre, Hamiota, Manitoba on Friday, June 17, 2011 at 81 years of age. Cyril is survived by his loving wife Doreen; sons Angus (Pat), Chris, Neil (Michele), Ryan (Janice); grandchildren Michelle (Allan), Brett (Beth), Caleb, William, Layne, Sawyer, Holden; great grandchildren Kyia, Carter, Karli, Jaeda; brother Frank (Ruth); sisters in-law Jean and Gloria; and several nieces and nephews. Cyril was predeceased by his parents John and Helen; brothers Geordie, Bill (Lois), Gordon, Charlie (Phyllis) (Eunice), Archie; sisters Thelma (Don) Carnegie, Eleanor (Melvin) Baggs, and Cora (Ted) Shier. A service to celebrate Cyril’s life will be held at the Isabella Community Church, Isabella, Manitoba on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. followed by a reception at the Isabella Community Hall. Private Interment will take place at the Crandall Cemetery. For those so desiring, donations may be made in Cyril’s memory to the Hamiota Palliative Care Program, c/o Hamiota District Health Centre, Hamiota, Manitoba, R0M 0T0 or to the Isabella Community Fund, Isabella, Manitoba, R0M 0Y0.
