ATKINSON: Arthur Sheridan Atkinson of Brandon, beloved husband of Margaret and dear father of Linda, passed away peacefully at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at the age of 83 years. In keeping with Sheridan’s wishes, cremation will take place. A celebration of his life will be held at the Brockie Donovan Chapel, 332-8th Street, on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. with Mrs. Bonnie Zimmer of First Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will follow at the Brandon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, 8-940 Princess Avenue, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 0P6 or to the ALS Society of Manitoba, 493 Madison Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3J 1J2.
