DERBOWKA: Arlene Ruth (Johnson); December 5, 1938 - July 2, 2011. Arlene Ruth Derbowka, of Brandon Manitoba passed away on July 2, 2011 at the age of 72 years. Arlene was born in High River, Alberta on December 5, 1935. She worked as a legal secretary for some time. She enjoyed music and dancing and loved doing things for her two grandsons and now grown children. She was well loved and provided for by her husband and will be dearly missed. Through the heartache of her sickness and pain with cancer there were good times that will remain. Arlene is survived by her devoted husband Mike Derbowka of Brandon MB ; loving daughter, Michelle Glowach (Brandon, Manitoba) and son, Ralph Johnson (Calgary, Alberta); two precious grandsons, Damen Macgillivrayand Tyler Glowach (Brandon, Manitoba); sister, Barbara Ross; by her three nieces and two nephews; and by her friends and extended family, Arlene was predeceased by her parents, Ralph and Opal Johnson, and by her twin sister Doreen Mackenzie. A celebration of Arlene's life will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at 11:00 am. Rev. Edmund Mielke of Grace Lutheran Church will officiate.
