FURTNEY: Mrs. Laura Jane Furtney of Melita, beloved wife of the late Mr. Kenneth Furtney, passed away at the Willowview Home, Reston, MB. on Friday, July 8, 2011 at the age of 95. A private family funeral service will be held at Redpath Funeral Home in Melita, Manitoba on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 with Rev. Dwight Rutherford officiating. Interment to follow at the Melita Cemetery. Friends and members of the community are then invited to join the family at a public reception at the Victoria United Church (C.E.
