NIXON: Eva Helen (nee Rogers) of Margaret, Manitoba died July 24, 2011 at the Assiniboine Centre in her 90th year, beloved wife of 69 years of Howard and mom to Alan, Gordon, Billy and Jean. Eva was predeceased by her son Alan, infant son Billy, her parents and all her siblings. In addition to Howard, Eva will be sadly but lovingly missed by her son Gordon and daughter-in-law Joan of Russell; daughter Jean MacDonald and son-in-law Leo of Regina, SK; very special grandchildren Terri Johnson (nee Nixon) and husband Ron, Kyle Nixon, Brock Nixon, Mitch MacDonald, Geoff MacDonald, and Stephanie MacDonald; and two delightful great grandchildren, Liberty and Maverick Johnson. Eva was also a special aunt to nieces and nephews from both the Rogers and Nixon side and a cherished friend to many. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2011 at the Minto United Church, Minto, Manitoba at 2:00 pm. Interment at the Margaret Cemetery.
