PENTICO: Jean. In her 65th year we sadly announce the passing of Jean, loving mother to son Alfred and wife Rachel, and son Dean and friend Kim. She was Grandma Jean to Sophia, Emma and Jackson. She was predeceased by her husband Clare and her mother and Dad Ethel and Alf Black of Rapid City. Jean worked for Home Health Care and will be missed by her friends and co-workers.

I met Jean in Chicago, Illinois in 1965-66. We became roommates and lived together until she and Clare were married. I was from Pilot Mound, Manitoba, have lived in the US until 2019 and now have moved to Mariapolis, Manitoba. I have been searching for some of my old friends from the sixties.
