GOODEN: George Kent Gooden of Brandon, beloved husband of Evelyn Mary Gooden, passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at the age of 90 years. A funeral service will be held at Central United Church on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Shannon McCarthy officiating. Interment will follow at Brandon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be to the Brandon University Foundation, 270-18th Street, Brandon, MB R7A 6A9 or to the Elspeth Reid Family Resource Centre, c/o Child & Family Services of Western Manitoba Foundation Inc., 255-9th Avenue, Brandon, MB, R7A 6X1.
