RUSSELL: On September 9th, 2011 a great man was suddenly taken from us. John William Russell passed away in his home in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. John was born on December 6th 1953 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. John spent time living in many places. He touched the lives of so many people. He spent his last few years in Moose Jaw with his wife and son. He will be greatly missed and always loved by his wife of 36 years Terry, their children Terra (Kelly), Cathy (Mark) and Calvin, his pride and joy, his grandchildren Faith, Sadie, Brianna and Ryan, his brother and sister's Deborah (Bert), Rhonda (Brad), Gary (Terry) and his father Jack and his many nieces and nephews, uncle's and aunt's. Also all the people he met in his many years as a baker, chef, paramedic, photographer and business owner. Through these experiences, people became life long friends of John. He is predeceased by his mother Edith Russell and his "Wolf" Brandy. The funeral for John will be held September 15th at 2:00 p.m. in the Pipestone Hall. John will be laid to rest at the Pipestone Cemetery following the ceremony. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Research Foundation.
