NEILSON: Terrence “Terry” William Neilson, 67 of Boise formerly of Pocatello passed away at his home Saturday, September 17, 2011. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 23rd at the Friendship Celebration Lutheran Church, 765 E. Chinden Blvd., Meridian, Idaho. Remembrances may be left for the family online at www.AccentFuneral.com. Services are under the direction of Accent Funeral Home, Meridian. Terry was born on November 21, 1943 in Minnedosa Manitoba Canada to Otto and Lillian Neilson. He was raised in Erickson Manitoba and attended schools there. He married Patricia Slobodian in 1967, and from this union he was blessed with 3 children. Terry moved from Brandon Manitoba to Pocatello, Idaho in 1982. He married Gayla Covington Aragon in Pocatello in 1988. They moved to Boise in 2003. Terry worked for JR Simplot Company and Idaho State University in Pocatello. He enjoyed NASCAR, football, fishing and woodworking. He is survived by his wife, Gayla of Boise; son, Darren Neilson; daughter, Shelley (Scott) Hardenbrook and son Kevin (Randi) Neilson all of Pocatello; step sons: Marc Aragon of Kansas City, Brian (Jennifer) Aragon of Pocatello; and step daughter, Christine Aragon of Boise; sister, Cheryl Bagnall of Lethbridge, Canada; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Terry was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Bryan Neilson.
