JAY: Donald “Tuff” Wilber Jay; passed away at the Hamiota District Health Centre, Hamiota, Manitoba on Monday, October 3, 2011 at 85 years of age. Don was predeceased by his parents Charles and Marguerite Jay; brothers Jiggs, Ken and Bob; sisters Joyce (Ray) McEwing and Bernice Chedore; brother in-law Bill Gallinger. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Louise; sons David (Karissa) and Ross; brother Bradley (Thelma); sister Verna Gallinger; sister in-law Fran Jay and numerous nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Don’s life will be held at the Kenton Memorial Hall, Kenton, MB, on Friday, October 7, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will take place in the Ancrum Cemetery. For those so desiring, donations may be made in Don’s memory to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 118, Kenton, Manitoba, R0M 0Z0.
