BIRIN: Stella Cecilia Birin, passed away comfortably at Fairview Home on December 3rd, 2011 at the age of 97 years. Born April 20th, 1914, Stella lived in Brandon all her life. She loved her property, which was always well groomed. John, her husband predeceased Stella in 1977. Surviving are her sons Don “Bartz”, Richard (Paulette), grandchildren Donna, Dennis, Raeshell, Tammy, Candace (Barry), great grandchildren Justin, Sara-Lee, and Jason. A service to honor Stella’s life was held at Brockie Donovan Chapel on Wednesday, December 7th, 2011 with Fr. Jerzy Urbanski officiating. Donations may be made in memory of Stella to the Brandon Humane Society, 2200-17th Street East, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 7M6.
