SCOTT: Charles Craig, aged 56, passed away suddenly after a short illness in the H.S.C. on November 25, 2011. Craig was born February 22, 1955 in Winnipeg, MB. He was predeceased by his parents Martha and Bob. He is survived by his brother Bill (Cindy); sons, Robert Andrew Cameron (Tamara Hames), and Charles Mathew William, who reside in Souris. Craig will be remembered by Donna (mother of his sons), friend Shirlee (Katie and Willy). Craig attended school in Hebron, Carroll, Souris and St. Joseph’s in Saskatchewan. He was a beautiful writer and artist. He was also a member of the Souris Elks for many years. Craig was a glazier by trade. He worked with Hometown Auto for many years, then went into business for himself and helped his friends. Craig enjoyed his music and belonged to a band called Dizaster Band many years ago. He played the drums and guitar. He also enjoyed animals and had many pets throughout the years. He played baseball in his early days. Craig had many friends and cousins who held a celebration of life for him at the Souris Legion on December 1, 2011. All in attendance were honourary pallbearers.
