HAMILTON: It is with great sadness that the family of William Billy Arthur Hamilton announce his sudden passing on Friday, December 16, 2011 at age 40 years. Billy will be dearly missed by his beloved fiancé, Stacie Clark, his children Hayden and Payton Hamilton and Emily and Spencer Kraft, his parents Bill and Marg Hamilton, his sisters Nancy Dane (Brent), Colleen Funk (Ron), Barb Howe (Brian) and Karen Bouverat (Bob), his father-in-law and mother-in-law Dwight and Marilyn Clark, his sister-in-law Katie Wood (Derek), brother-in-law Troy Clark (Michelle) and many nieces and nephews. Billy was born on May 11, 1971, was raised in Brandon and was truly a Brandon boy at heart. Following in his father's footsteps, he trained as a welder and founded Hamilton Iron, working side by side with his Dad. Billy loved to golf, play and coach youth hockey and was a loyal ChicagoBlackhawks fan. Deeply proud of his Irish heritage, a highlight of his life was a trip to Ireland with his Dad and sister Barb a few years ago. Billy was a loving, committed father to his children. His fiancé, Stacie Clark, brought joy and love to his life and he was looking forward to their future together. Billy was a loyal son, devoted brother, favorite uncle and was the centre of our family. Billy's circle of friends was wide, and his legendary sense of humor brought joy and laughter to all who knew him. Simply said, to know Billy was to love him. We rejoice in the fact that Billy is with his Father in heaven now, as his faith was strong and his trust was steadfast in the Lord. The Hamilton and Clark/Kraft families wish to thank all of ourfamily and friends for the love and support shown to us at the passing of our beloved Billy. Your kindness and thoughtfulness was greatly appreciated. Thank you to those strangers present who stepped forward and tried to help us and assist Billy-we will be forever grateful for your courage. A service to celebrate Billy's life was held on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at McDiarmid Drive Alliance Church.
