GIBBONS: Gregory Brian, (January 19, 1953 – December 25, 2011). Greg left this earth for heaven on Christmas Night after a wonderful time with friends and having spent time on the phone visiting with his family in New Brunswick and the Yukon. Christmas was Greg’s favorite day of the year, so how fitting it is that God opened the gates to heaven for Greg on Christmas Night. A celebration of Greg’s life will take place on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Brockie Donovan Funeral Home, 332 – 8th Street, Brandon, Manitoba. A gathering will follow in the Brockie Donovan Reception room where friends and people Greg enjoyed, appreciated and whom he touched in many different ways, can share some of his stories, poems and life experiences. For all that knew Greg, he was quite a character and he so enjoyed and appreciated people in a very warm and special way.
