BUECHLER: Erna “Myrtle” Buechler (nee Grahn) of Brandon, Manitoba, formerly of Moosehorn, Manitoba, passed away on January 8, 2012 at the age of 103. Myrtle was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on January 17, 1908. She was raised in Moosehorn, Manitoba. She married Julius Buechler on November 14, 1929. Myrtle and Julius had two sons, Henry (1930) and Gerald (1941). Myrtle was predeceased by her parents William and Julianna, her husband Julius (1951), her sister Emilie, her brothers Harold, Albert, Robert, Elmer and her son Henry. Myrtle leaves to cherish fond memories her son Gerald (Eleanor) of Brandon and two grandchildren Lori (Eugene) Michaluk and great-granddaughter Jenna of Dauphin; Cindy (Regan) Wruth and great-granddaughter Rylee of Forrest, Manitoba. Also her brother Jack (Della) Grahn of Surrey, BC, sisters Edna Metner of Calgary, Alberta, Emma Metner of Moosehorn and Helen Klappart of Moosehorn. If friends or family so desire donations may be made in lieu of flowers to Peace Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 68, Moosehorn, Manitoba, R0C 2E0 or to a charity of your choice. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on January 14, 2012 at the Peace Lutheran Church in Moosehorn, Manitoba.
