HENDERSON: Harvey Edward Henderson passed away on January 26, 2012 at the Tri-Lake Regional Health Centre in Killarney at 67 years of age. He was born on November 27, 1944 “at home” in Killarney. Harvey grew up in a farming community near Killarney, Manitoba, attending Henderson School, a rural elementary school, and later Killarney Collegiate. He received training at ACC in Brandon and worked as a carpenter for several years. He spent most of his working years with Bradley Sand and Gravel and later Wheat City Concrete operating a gravel washplant in the Wakopa District. During this time Harvey developed a cattle farm which was his life-long interest. He was predeceased by his parents and sisters Hilda, Ruth, and Margaret. He is survived by his sister Carolyn and brothers Richard and Brian. Private viewing and interment were held on Friday, February 3, at 10:00 a.m. at Wheatland Chapel. Funeral service was held Friday, February 3, at 2:00 p.m. in the Wheatland Chapel, Killarney, Manitoba with Rev. Colin Grambo officiating.
