AMES: It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mom and grandma, Doris (née Mathers) on March 2, 2012 at the age of 82 years. She leaves to mourn her daughters, Janice Smith (Len), Jodi Robertson (Ken), grandsons, Reid and AJ, sister-in-law, Lorraine Mathers and her dearest friend, Olga Moffat. Doris was predeceased by her husband Murray in January 1994. At mom’s request, a graveside service will be held at the Brandon Cemetery on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Shannon McCarthy of Central United Church officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Brandon Humane Society, 2200-17th Street East, Brandon, MB, R7A 7M6.
