BROOKS: Florence Catherine (Kay) Brooks; beloved wife of the late Franklin Brooks; and mother of Earl (Lorraine), Sheila (Mel), Audrey, and Dale (Jackie); passed away at the Hamiota District Health Centre, Hamiota, MB on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 95 years of age. A service to celebrate Kay’s life will be held at the Hamiota United Church, Hamiota on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at 2:00 PM followed by a time of fellowship in the Hamiota Community Centre. Interment will take place at the Hamiota Cemetery at 1:00 PM. For those so desiring, donations may be made in Kay’s memory to the Hamiota United Church Memorial Fund, Hamiota, MB, R0M 0T0; Hamiota District Sports Complex, Box 100, Hamiota, MB, R0M 0T0; or to the Hamiota Golf Club, Hamiota, MB, R0M 0T0.
