BADOWICH: Doreen Violet May passed away on March 12, 2012. Doreen was born in Watford Hertz, England to Charles and May Pope on December 31, 1925, their only child. Doreen met the love of her life, Charlie, during the Second World War. They were married February 21, 1945 when she immigrated to Canada as an English War Bride. They were blessed with 4 children. Mom and Dad spent many wonderful years in Palm Springs, California. Moms passion was the creating of her beautiful porcelain dolls. Mom was Dads greatest supporter in all his endeavors. Special times for Mom were having English tea with her loving grandchildren. She was loved and will be missed by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Doreen will always be loved and never forgotten by her dedicated husband of 66 years Charlie (Chuck); by her daughters, Angela (Joseph) Delorme, Darlene (Terry) Conway; sons, David Charles Badowich, Charles Dwight Badowich; her loving grandchildren, Jill Pierreponte, Travis (Tammy) Pierreponte, Christie (Graham) Garden, Brent Conway, Rebecca Badowich, Bridgette Badowich; great-grandchildren, Bauer and Ashlyn Pierreponte, Wyatt and Mackenzie Garden. A private family service will take place at a later date. The family wishes to sincerely thank all of the dedicated, wonderful caregivers on the 2nd Floor at Fairview Home. God Bless you all.
