SULLIVAN: John, of Port Colborne, Ontario, passed away October 7, 2011. John was born in St. Stephen, New Brunswick on November 27th, 1927. He graduated from the University of Montreal in 1951 and St. Francis Xavier University in 1957. John worked as a chemist at Inco in Port Colborne for 27 years. He was an avid curler, skater, bridge player and golfer. In 1973 he and his partner, Gary Sargus, won a National Bridge Championship. John was predeceased by his wife, Elaine, in 1984. He is lovingly remembered by his children: Maureen Stitt (Gerald) of Brandon, Linda (Stephan Moresoli) of Chelsea, Quebec, Ann (Erik Anderson) of Redwood Meadows, Alberta, and Kevin (Natasha) of Port Colborne, Ontario, as well as by 11 grandchildren: Laurel, Evan, Erin, Kiersten and Caroline Stitt; Lukas and Maia Moresoli; Keely and Finn Anderson; and Jiliane and Brock Sullivan. He is also survived by his sister, Trudy (Ennio) of Delray Beach, Florida. John loved spending time with his family; his wit and love of all things Irish will be missed by all of us.
