Irwin BOUCHARD

BOUCHARD: Irwin Bernard Bouchard, age 63, passed away peacefully, with family by his side, on March 20, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. Irwin was born on December 12, 1948 in Radville, Saskatchewan, son of Dorothy and Bernard Bouchard. Irwin enjoyed farming as well as working for 25 years at Simplot Canada Ltd, 15 years at Manitoba Crop Insurance and 4 years at Schweitzer-Mauduit. Irwin and Sandie shared 45 years of marriage and their greatest achievements include their five children and ten grandchildren. Irwin is predeceased by his parents, father- in-law Emile Skrabek, and brother-in-laws Barry Skrabek and Peter McLeod. Irwin is survived by his wife Sandie, his children and their families; Darin, Krista, Brady & Tara Lee Bouchard; Denny, Karen, Emily & Hannah Bouchard; Corey Bouchard; Jodene, Doug, Hayden, Sydney & Luke Wiggins, and Haylee, Brett, Dalyce, Lane & Abby Hargreaves; his mother-in-law Helen Skrabek, his siblings June (Garnet) Ferguson, Judy (Don) Atchison, Elwin (Jean) Bouchard, and Janet (Wes) Charter and numerous nieces and nephews. Irwin had a strong work ethic and appreciated a job well done. His “can do” attitude and love of life will be missed but carried on through generations. A family gathering will take place to honor Irwin.
