CHRISTIE: Passed away at the Glenboro Personal Care Home on Monday March 26, 2012 at the age of 83 years, Stephen Johannes “Stubby” Christie, of Glenboro, MB. Stubby leaves to mourn his passing his two sons Mel (Colleen) of Glenboro, Richard (Carol) of Brandon, daughter Nadine Robidoux of Glenboro; six grandchildren Caitlin, Mallory, Bobbi, Lindsay, Samantha, & Derek, two great grandchildren Torah & Deacon, as well as numerous nieces & nephews. Stubby was predeceased by his wife Betty (nee Richards) in 2009, parents Kristjan Christie & Lilia Houston & by a sister Doreen (Fred) Bjornson. A Family Graveside will take place at the Glenboro Cemetery.Friends that so desire, memoriams may be made in Stubby’s memory to the Glenboro & Area Foundation, Box 147 Glenboro MB, R0K 0X0.
