KENNEDY: James “Jim” Wilson Kennedy of Pierson, Manitoba, passed away at the Melita Health Centre on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at the age of 88. Jim is survived by his wife Marion of Pierson; three daughters: Doreen (Chuck) Lund of Dauphin, Lori (Ken) Blyth of Edmonton, and Jodi Kennedy of Pierson; granddaughter Erin Lund of Winnipeg and grandson Jeremy Lund of Edmonton; sister Annie Nero of Winnipeg; brother Cecil (Vivian) Kennedy of Bassano, Alberta; two sisters-in-law: Ruth (Orest) Harris of Winnipeg and Mayne Doak of Brandon; two brothers-in-law: Norman (Yvonne) Mitchell of Winnipeg and Jack (Eileen) Mitchell of Cupar, Saskatchewan; also numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents James and Agnes (Ayre) Kennedy; four brothers-in-law: Ray Nero, Ken Doak, Bill (Jean) Mitchell, and Rae (Gloria) Mitchell. A funeral service held at a later date.
