MILLER: Timothy Richard Miller. Tim passed away on April 9, 2012 at Boissevain Health Centre with his family by his side. He lost a battle against cancer at the age of 47. Tim was born November 26, 1964 at Glenboro hospital. He grew up in Fairfax, Minto area, attending Minto school and Boissevain High School. He spent most of his life in Brandon, working various jobs in construction, eavestroughing and Maple Leaf Meat Plant. It was during this time he met many of his special friends and co-workers. Tim loved the great outdoors – enjoying camping and fishing. Tim was predeceased by his grandparents Allan and Olive Miller (Fairfax MB) and William and Kathleen Acorn (Belmont MB), Aunt Wilma Brown of Killarney, Uncles: Ken Manning, Irving Myers of Belmont, Howard Miller of Treherne and Ron Walker of Boissevain and cousin Dale Myers of Belmont. Tim is survived by his parents Bill and Pat Miller of Boissevain, MB, brother Troy (Jamie) of Camrose AB, brother Trevor (Carrie) and family Ethan, Paige and Connor and special friend Julia Williamson of Miniota MB, aunts, uncles and numerous cousins. A public graveside service was held April 13, 2012 at Boissevain Cemetery with Rev. Brian Nelmes officiating. Donations in memory of Tim may be made to Boissevain Health Centre – Palliative Care or Nurse Recruitment Fund.
