SHIER: C. Gerald Shier; beloved husband of Nora; father of Elayna (Mike) Zadko, Vincent (Mary) Shier and Gordon Shier; passed away at Brandon Regional Health Centre, Brandon, MB, on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 82 years of age. A service to celebrate Gerald’s life will be held at the Hamiota District Sports Complex, Hamiota, MB on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at 2:00 PM followed by a time of fellowship and refreshments. A private family interment will take place at the Crandall Cemetery prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gerald’s memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 824 – 18th St Unit 3, Brandon, MB, R7A 5B7 or to CancerCare Manitoba, P.O.
