MARTENS: Passed away at the Baldur Health Centre on Wednesday May 9, 2012 at the age of 92 years, August Antoine Martens of Baldur, MB. August leaves to mourn his passing his three sons Henry (Edith) Martens, Leon (Angela) Martens, & Rene (Melody) Martens all of Baldur, two daughters Betty (Dennis) Turner of Killarney & Linda (Kevin) McGill of Killarney, 19 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. He is also survived by a brother Gerry (Antoinette) Martens of Brandon, sisters-in-law Tina Meuller, Simona DeBoes & Leona DeBoes and by a brother-in-law Leon (Mary Jane) DeBoes, all of Brantford Ont. August was predeceased by his wife Anna (nee DeBoes), parents Henri & Sylvia, sisters Maria Wytinck, Clara DeSmet & Madeleine DeVlieger, brother Maurice & an infant brother Rene and by an infant brother-in-law Leon. Prayers will be held on Sunday May 13, 2012 at 7:30 pm in the Willmor Chapel, Glenboro, MB. Mass of the Christian Burial will take place on Monday May 14, 2012 at 11:00 am in the St. James Catholic Church, Baldur MB, with Father Phillip Malayil as Celebrant. Interment to follow in the Baldur Cemetery.
