GRZYBOWSKI: Anthony (Tony) Andrew, born January 2, 1922 in Brzesc nad Bugiem, Poland, passed away peacefully on Thursday May 17, 2012 at the Holy Family Home in Winnipeg, Manitoba, at the age of 90 years. Tony was predeceased byKatherine, his wife of 51 years in 1998, and by his son-in-law William Hakman in 2010. Left to cherish his memory are his son Zenon (Lynn) of Winnipeg; daughter Mary Hakman of Brandon; granddaughters Shannon Grzybowski and Lesley (Joe) Kozun of Winnipeg; grandson Andrew Hakman of Edmonton and great-granddaughters Nicole and Megan Kozun of Winnipeg. Tony was a skilled cabinet maker, and spent many years working for Currie Manufacturing and North American Lumber in Brandon. In their retirement years, Tony and Katherine enjoyed many vacations to warmer climes. Tony was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He always took great interest and pride in the lives and accomplishments of all his family members. His presence in our lives will be profoundly missed. Prayers will be said at St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 927 Assiniboine Avenue, Brandon on Tuesday May 22, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday May 23 at 10:00 a.m., with Rev. Fr. Michael Tkachuk, Celebrant. Interment will follow at the Brandon Cemetery.
