KAULINS: With great sadness we announce the passing of Arnis Kaulins, born in Riga, Latvia on July 23, 1932. Arnis emigrated to Canada in 1950 and served in the Canadian military for 26 years and 10 years for the Manitoba government. Arnis was very proud of his military service and Latvian Heritage. During his retirement years he enjoyed gardening and various volunteering activities around the community. He is survived by his wife Aina; three children, Andis and wife Jenny, Benita, Ron, three grandchildren, Kyle, Stephanie and Anthony, and brother Maigonis and wife Ingrida. He was laid to rest at a private family service held in the Brandon Veterans Cemetery. The Kaulins family would like to thank the staff of the Brandon Regional Health Centre, Dinsdale Personal Care Home and the Assiniboine Centre for all their care and support.
