SHEWCHUK: Pearl Shewchuk of Sandy Lake passed away on Monday, June 4, 2012, the Sandy Lake Personal Care Home at the age of 94 years. Pearl was predeceased by her husband Michael Shewchuk. She is survived by her son Wes (Liz) Shewchuk of Brandon and daughter Bev (Dennis) Duncan of Winnipeg. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, Ozerna. Prayers will be said at the church Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. Fr. Emil Kardasinec will officiate. If friends so desire donations may be made to Sandy Lake Personal Care Home, Palliative Care, St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, Ozerna or to a charity of one’s choice.
