William KERR

KERR: William "Keith" Kerr died peacefully on May 11, 2012 at Tri-Lake Health Centre in Killarney, MB. Born to Albert and Lillian Kerr(nee Drader) June 26, 1933 on his grandpa's homesteaded farm south east of Durea, MB. He is pre-deceased by his parents and older sister, Jean Depape (nee Kerr). Dad worked hard and took over the family farm after getting married in his early 20's. He later branched out to Ninette, MB to call home. Dad enjoyed his community and loved to chitchat at the coffee shop. He had life long friends he kept and appreciated. He loved seeing his grandkids growing up and loved hearing about their antics and successes. He loved old time country music, raunchy jokes, he never met a dessert he didn't like, he swore like a pirate, was highly opinionated, and was a farmer through and through. We will miss him. Dad is survived by his very special and dear friend and companion of 17 years, Donna Barber. He is survived by his children - Deb (Terry) Corkum, Doug (Geri) Kerr, Wendal (Ann Marie) Kerr, Barbara Kerr, Janice (Tony) Obijiaku; grandchildren - Dolan, Deanna, Kalen, Colin, Chuka , Shuan, Cassidy, Andrew, Chidi and his former wife Doreen Kerr.
