MAYES: Mrs. Leona Mayes formerly of Pierson, MB., passed away at the Bren Del Win Lodge, Deloraine, MB. on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the age of 80. She is survived by her two daughters: Wendy (Ron) White of Lyleton and Vicki (Carlon) Wells of Brandon; five grandchildren: Myles (Claudia Romero) & Makayla & Noah White of Winnipeg, Brooks (Jen) and Sawyer White of Pierson, April (Neal) vanSteenis of Calgary, Tyler (Alissa) and Taya & Kalina McKinna of Regina, and Lance McKinna (Jen Blahy) of Brandon; sister Devona Treffry of Portage and brother Foster Fournie of Melita. Leona was predeceased by her husband Elwyn Mayes, parents Gordon & Eleanor Fournie. A Private Family Graveside will take place at the Pierson Cemetery, Pierson, MB. on Friday, June 15, 2012.
