MURRAY: Mr. John Murray of Lyleton, passed away at the Virden Health Centre on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the age of 82. He is survived by his wife Joan of Lyleton; daughter Brenda (Greg) Riddell of Pierson; son Norman (Linda) Murray of Virden; six grandsons: Daniel (Becky) & Peyton Riddell, David Riddell (Tiffany Vilcu), Garrett Riddell (Brittany Vanbeselaere), Brent Murray (Nicole Davidson), Shane Murray (Veronique Lagace), and Blair Murray; seven sisters- in-law: Mona Murray of Melita, Toots Turnbull of Napa, AB., Mary (Rodney) Cairns of Oak Lake, Bonnie (Ed) Bartlett of Brandon, Sandra (Don) Higgins of Lyleton, Sue (Phil) Lesy of Deloraine, and Joan Shears of Ft. St. John, BC.; two brothers-in-law: Ken (Pat) Shears of Hudson Hope, BC., and Jack (Elaine) Shears of Ft. St. John, BC.; niece Diane (Darryl) Elliott of Cromer; three nephews: Gary (Wynne) Murray of Melita, Barry (Trudy) Murray of Melita, and Rick (Connie) Murray of Brandon; also numerous nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his parents Vern & Lu Murray, brother Dave Murray and two brothers-in-law: Jim Shears and Lloyd Turnbull. The Funeral Service will be held at the Lyleton United Church, Lyleton, MB. on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at 2:00 pm. (Reverend) Heather Sandilands will officiate.
