DANE-McKENZIE (nee Smilski): Adele Elizabeth Dane-McKenzie. 29 - Nov. - 27 to 25 - Mar. - 12. Suddenly on 25 March 2012 left our presence to join her first husband, Gerald Dane, eldest daughter Shyrel, her grandson James McKie, as well as many other family members and friends. She leaves to mourn, her second husband, Allan G. McKenzie, her remaining children, Robert, Lorie, Dale, Frederick and Donald, 2 step-daughters, 3 sisters, one brother, eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Adele was born in Conastin, Ontario to Mike and Ann Smilski. She was raised on a farm in the Mink Creek area of Manitoba. Having married a solider, she traveled and lived in many areas of Canada as well as three years in Germany. Adele loved to hunt and fish. She was at home outdoors, whether it be on the farm, in the garden, or walking the bush. She was one excellent cook and had shared many delicious meals with her friends and family. She loved her family and her family loved her. She will be dearly missed.
