VERMEULEN: (nee Ferris) Janet Elizabeth died peacefully on June 1, 2012 at Victoria Hospital at the age of 65. Jan leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Harry, son Kevin Lepp, brothers Lewis Ferris (Nicole Dion) and Donald Ferris (Jeanne), sister Norina Martin, David and Gail Vermeulen and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Jan was predeceased by her mom and dad, Tom and Mary Ferris, and her husband’s parents Cory and Mavis Vermeulen. Jan worked at MTS for 29 years and volunteered extensively at Lion’s Manor. She married her beloved Harry in 1994. She loved to read, do crossword puzzles and be with her friends and family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Funeral service was held on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at the Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg.
