DOWNES: Wilbert Lawrence Downes of Brandon and formerly of Birtle passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2012, at the Fairview Home in Brandon at the age of 94 years. Wilbert is survived by his children: Bob (Barb) Downes of Winnipeg and Betty Watt of Brandon and families. The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 22, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Trinity United Church, 1515 - 6th Street, Brandon. Interment will follow at the Birtle Cemetery at 3:30 p.m., Birtle, Manitoba. Rev.
