BOONE: Julian Boone. "He was a lively blonde haired boy who said little but exuded joy". Julian Dean Boone was born on January 9, 2010 at the Brandon General Hospital. He took a long time coming and when he finally did it was amazing. He was a black haired, blue eyed little angel at 8 lbs 9 oz and 24 inches long. It didn't take long at all for him to have the whole family wrapped around his little finger. As Julian grew his hair turned to blonde and he was even more of a looker. He quickly made it clear that he was a child that liked to have fun and was a little mischievous at times. He became quite attached to a big green stuffed frog that he called his baby. Julian very quickly showed a love of animals as well. His first cat was Socks and the second was Milo whom he lovingly referred to as Me - o. The poor cat would get dragged all over the place and loved it. Julian also loved people. He was not afraid to walk through a crowded room or give a stranger a hug. In this last year, Julian also showed us that he liked to dance. One of his favorites was the "wiggle, wiggle, wiggle." He also loved giving high fives which we are sure he's giving everyone up there in heaven. Earlier this year Julian began attending the Southwest Daycare in Brandon where, with his charming and friendly demeanor, he quickly made lots of new friends. While we are going to miss a lot of Julian's "firsts", the ones that we did get to share with him where always so happy and enthusiastic that we will never forget them. Julian is survived by his mom Candice Boone, his dad Byron McKay, grandparents: Patricia King, Rosie & Robert McKay, great grandmother Marlene King, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. The funeral service will be held on Monday, July 2, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. from Central United Church, 327 8th St., Brandon, MB with Rev. Laird Russell-Yearwood officiating. Interment will follow in the Souris & Glenwood Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Southwest Day Care Inc., 656 6th St., Brandon, MB R7A 3P1. Remembrances and condolences may be emailed to raesfs@mymts.net Rae’s Funeral Service of Shoal Lake and Erickson are in care of arrangements. (204) 636-7727.
