1970 ~ WILCOX ~ 2012. Timothy James Wilcox passed away on Saturday, July 21st, 2012 at the age of 41 years. Tim was the beloved husband of Krista (Sehn) Wilcox of Medicine Hat and the loving father to Cody (17), Corissa (14), and Coltin (11). Tim also leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Faye Wilcox; two brothers, Ken Wilcox (friend Joanne) and Dennis (Beth) Wilcox; one brother-in-law, Gordon Haggstrom; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Tim is also survived by his father and mother-in-law, Peter and Delores Sehn of Maple Creek; two brothers-in-law, Kurtis (Heather) Sehn of Fox Valley and Kelvin (Vanessa) Sehn of Prelate; his many special friends; his 4-H family; as well as his Saamis Funeral Home family and numerous others. Tim was predeceased by his sister, Tammy; and his father, Gary. Tim was born on November 23rd, 1970 in Brandon, Manitoba. He attended school in Brandon from Grades 1-12. From an early age, he knew he was going to move out west. In 1988, he made his dream come true...he was 18 and living his Alberta dream. He began working at Hat Alfalfa and in 1995 he ventured on to South Rock. In the fall of 1993 through friends, Tim met his bride- to-be, Krista Sehn. Dating led to marriage on February 8th, 1997. In 1999, Krista and Tim thought the place for him was being at home and so he began working at Good Year where more close-knit friendships were formed. God blessed Tim and Krista with three beautiful children, Cody, Corissa, and Coltin. With the kids came a lot of family fun times....camping trips, swimming, and biking. Krista got Tim horseback riding in the heck, which was when they both got lost. This wasn't forgotten about on short note. Tim took a lot of pride in his kids and what they were involved in. It started out with cubs where he was known as Rusty the Fox, which suited him fine. It didn't take long before the scouting led to 4-H days. Whether it was going to meetings or clinics, or being a handy dandy gate man, Tim took it all with a grain of salt. Tim was known as Tim the Tool Man. He could fix almost anything and if he didn't know how to fix something, he found out how and then did. You could often find Tim helping the neighbors with handy problems. Tim was a joker to all who knew him and we often wondered who or what the next trick would be. In the winter of 2009, Tim started working at Saamis Prairie View Cemetery and Saamis Memorial Funeral Chapel. He had great passion for his work, his co-workers and the general public and was always caring for the personal needs of others. Tim’s co-workers were his second family. Timothy’s name, Tim, means to honor God…and he did. May you Rest In Peace, Tim. Love your family and friends. The Funeral Service will be held in Saamis Memorial Memorial Funeral Chapel, #1 Dunmore Road SE, on Friday, July 27th, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Roque Pereira officiating. Interment will follow in the Family Plot at Saamis Prairie View Cemetery. Memorial gifts in Tim’s memory will be accepted at any TD Canada Trust Branch and placed in a Trust Fund for the Wilcox Children. Condolences may be sent through www.saamis.com www.gonebutnotforgotten.ca or condolences@saamis.com subject heading Tim Wilcox. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Saamis Memorial Funeral Chapel And Crematorium “The Chapel in the Park”, Medicine Hat, Alberta.
