JONES: William (Bill). The death of William (Bill) Jones occurred July 4th at his home on Driedger Bay, Brandon. Bill served the community of Brookdale and area for over 40 years, in the R. W. Jones Hardware & Imperial Oil. After returning from serving four years with the P.L.D.G. Princess Louise Dragoon Guards, Bill met and married Rose Winslow. They have three children Lynne, Donald and Dale; 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by brother Donald Gordon Jones, sisters Muriel Bowie and Peggy Hunter. Bill has one surviving sister Irene Hine of Brandon. Bill was laid to rest at Brookdale Cemetery, August 15th. He will be sorely missed by all of us.
