MOFFAT: Michael C. passed away at the Irene Thomas Hospice located in Ladner, BC in the early morning of August 7, 2012 from cancer. Michael was born in Denver, Colorado and grew up in Elgin, Manitoba attended the University of Brandon, and then the University of BC. The bulk of Michael’s career with Bell Canada allowed him to live in Montreal, Quebec and then a few years in Ottawa, Ontario before retiring to Tsawwassen, BC in 2001. There will be a graveside service held for Michael on September 15, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. for friends and family at the Elgin Cemetery. In lieu of sympathy cards or flowers, please make a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society, your local Cancer Care agency, local hospice or palliative care facility.
