HYNDMAN: Grant Hyndman of Hamiota, MB formerly of Crandall, MB; passed away quietly with his family at his side at the Hamiota District Health Centre, Hamiota, MB on Friday, August 31, 2012 at 88 years of age. He is survived by his wife Janet; daughter Marilee Minion of Edmonton, AB; son Craig (Vonda) Hyndman of Regina, SK; step-sons Chris (Fiona) Lassota of Vancouver, BC and Robert Lassota of Vancouver, WA; and five grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents Wallace and Winnifred Hyndman; his first wife Louise and his son-in-law Shayne Minion. He served in the Navy in WW II and then farmed at Crandall. In keeping with Grants wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service. A private interment will be held at the Crandall Cemetery, Crandall, MB. He will be greatly missed.
