McKAY: Princess Marina McKay. Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandma entered into rest with her children by her side on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at the Minnedosa Hospital. She was predeceased by her loving husband Solomon and son Dorland. Princess was born in Rolling River Indian Reserve on January 31, 1935. She leaves to mourn her children Gerald, Wesley (Shirley), Joyce (Randy), Brenda, Pierre (Jocelyn), Marcia (Stacy), Solomon Jr. (Shelly), Joanne, Sandra, Ruthie, Graham (Sheila), Dean (Laura) and Marlyn (Jason); along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Princess enjoyed and looked forward to her family gatherings, spending time laughing, jigging, and sharing stories with her loved ones. She loved to travel and went as far as New York, Delaware, Alberta, BC and Ontario. She will be dearly missed but forever in our hearts.A funeral service was held on Rolling River First Nation with interment in the Rolling River Catholic Cemetery. Minnedosa Funeral Service in care of arrangements.
