MAYBERRY:Jack passed away at his home in Reston at the age of 88 years. He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife Muriel, daughter Pat (Colin), grandsons Chris (Signe) Kevin (Heather and Jada), son Bill (Gay) grandson Greg (Alisa) granddaughter Sarah (Ian), Step daughter Brenda (Jack) granddaughter Angela (Steve) grandson Bryson (Onalie), Step son Laurie (Judy) grandson Jason (Jennifer) granddaughter Jennifer (Troy), great-grand children Oscar, Chloe and Collins, sister Olive Elliot, sister-in-law Olive Mayberry, and brother-in-law Don Hargreaves along with numerous nieces and nephews. Jack was predeceased by his sister Jean Hargreaves in 1992 and his brother Sam in April 2012. A service was held in Reston United Church September 13,2012 with Rev. Dwight Rutherford officiating. Urn bearers were Jack’s grandsons Kevin McKay and Greg Mayberry. Ushers were Jack’s nephews Larrie and Barrie Elliot. The Wheat City Sam’s formed the Guard of Honour. The lunch was served by the Church Guild in Sherman Hall following the burial. Donations in Memory of Jack may be made to: Reston Foundation, Box 515, Reston, MB, R0M 1X0 or a charity of your choice. All those in attendance were Honourary Pall bearers. Carscadden Funeral Home of Virden were in charge of the funeral arrangements.
