McCUTCHEON: Devin. April 20th, 1982 - November 1st, 2012. Devin McCutcheon passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends at his home in Calgary on November 1st, 2012 at the age of 30 years. Devin is survived by his wife Erin; son William; mother Shannon; sister Abby (Daniel) Fell and their children Kobe and Trinity; fathers Darwin McCutcheon and Kim Davis, as well as many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Devin is also survived by his extended family mother and father in-law Joe and Ann Mercier; sister-in-law Jessica (Dan) Mercier; Theresa Mercier and brother-in-law Joseph Mercier. Devin was born in Redvers, Saskatchewan on April 20th, 1982. He then spent the first seven years of his life in Pipestone, Manitoba and grew into a man in Claresholm, Alberta. Devin completed his schooling at Claresholm Composite High School where he found the love for football and went on many adventures with class mates. He worked construction, the oil and gas industry and then started his own eavestroughing business. Devin has spent the last 3 years battling cancer at the Tom Baker Centre in Calgary, Alberta where he met and married his wife and made Calgary his home within the last year. Devin will be missed and loved by everyone he met, Devin has touched lives all around. He’s left footprints in loved one’s hearts that will remain forever. With Devin’s strength, courage and will to continue on, he has been an inspiration to many fighting this disease. Memorial donations in Devin’s memory may be made through Tom Baker Cancer Centre.
