WELLS: Mabel (nee Hudson) passed away Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre after a courageous battle with cancer. Born March 15, 1932, to Bert and Vivian Hudson at East Bay MB, Mabel lived most of her life in Brandon with her husband “Harry” Wells. She worked in healthcare in Brandon for over 50 years, including the Brandon General, and Brandon Mental hospitals, the Brandon Sanitorium and working for Dr. Grube for 10 years, and 25 years at Hillcrest Place. Mabel leaves to mourn her four remaining daughters: Darlene (Jim) Milne, Linda (Floyd) Harkness, Penny Wilson, and Tammy (Mark) Van Loo; son-in-law Jerry Bage; and their families, as well as brothers, sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Harry, daughter Tanise, parents, son-in-law Floyd, and several siblings. A Ceremony to Celebrate Mabel's life was held at Memories Chapel on Tuesday, November 6, 2012. Arlene Robertson officiated. Interment followed at the Brandon Cemetery.
