STEWART (Morton): Jean Phyllis born April 20, 1921 to Harold and Harriet Morton of Winnipeg, Manitoba, passed away November 25,2012 at the Assiniboine Centre, Brandon, MB. Jean grew up in Winnipeg and took her nurses training at the Winnipeg General Hospital. She married W.A. (Bill) Stewart of Oak River MB in 1947 and settled on the farm north of Cardale, MB. In 1985, Jean and Bill moved to Strathclair, MB where they enjoyed many great friendships . In 2007, Jean moved to Victoria Landing in Brandon, MB where again she settled in and made many new friends. Jean was predeceased by her husband Bill, son Bruce and brother Arthur Morton. She leaves to remember her with love her children Ann (Elmer) Koscielny, Alexandra (Rick Elder) Stewart, Ross (Pearl) Stewart, Jack (Helen) Stewart, her grandchildren, Jason (Karen) Koscielny, Trent (Karla) Koscielny, Chadwick (Michelle) Koscielny, William (Daniela) Stewart, John (Stephanie) Stewart, Alexander (Crystal) Stewart, Kate Stewart and Kim Stewart and 10 great grandchildren. A service to celebrate Jean’s life will be held at the Strathclair United Church, Strathclair, MB on Monday, December 3, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. A private family interment will take place prior at the White Bank Lea Cemetery.
