ROBERTSON: Dorothy Robertson (nee Haithwaite), age 84, formerly of Boissevain, beloved wife of the late Grant Robertson, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2012 in Calgary, Alberta, with her family at her side. She is survived by sons Jim (Tasha) and Bruce (Alina), grandchildren Taylor and Kyle, all of Calgary; Grant’s sister, Margaret Bailey; niece Janice (James) Borin, great-nephews Adriano and Angelo, all of Elmira, Oregon; sister-in-law Dorothy Haithwaite of Wawanesa; brother-in-law Lloyd McDonald of Brandon; and many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; and several cousins in England, Manitoba, and British Columbia. She was predeceased by husband Grant (January 2012), father and mother Jim and Nellie Haithwaite of Brandon (formerly of Wawanesa); brothers Bob and Jack (Vi) of B.C., Melvin of Wawanesa; sister Eleanor McDonald of Brandon. A graveside service in memory of Dorothy and Grant will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at the Boissevain Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Donations in memory of Dorothy and Grant may be made to the charity of own choice.
